We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.
We believe in one God Who, in His wisdom and power, is the Creator of all things. He is infinitely perfect, Almighty and All-Knowing to the extent that He has perfect knowledge of the future. He eternally exists in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who are with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
We believe that man was created in the image of God and shared a special relationship with Him. By his free choice, man sinned against God and brought sin and condemnation into the human race.
We believe that Jesus Christ, being both fully God and fully man, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, according to the scriptures, and was the perfect, sinless sacrifice on our behalf, and through His death and resurrection He offers the only way of salvation to all who trust in Him. We believe in the personal and visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ and in the bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord; of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
We believe that the true Church is composed of all persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. We believe that Christ gave two ordinances to the local church – believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Its scriptural officers are pastors and deacons. While both men and women are gifted for service in the church, the office of pastor is limited to men as qualified by Scripture.
